Homemade Basil Pesto & Tuna Cheesiness

Sometimes a quick and easy effortless dinner is literally only a few ingredients away. Therefore, to save time and money make use of all these goodness ingredients for a really beautiful cheesy tuna pasta.


Ingredients:


200g macaroni

2 x garlic cloves, diced

1 x onion, diced

Homemade basil pesto (see our recipe how to make yours)

120g drained tuna

4 x Tbsp of fat free double cream yogurt

3 x handful grated cheese of your choice

Extra Virgin Olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Handful of italian parsley

Method:


Switch your oven to 180 degrees on the grill function.


Meanwhile make your pasta as per the packing instruction.


In a wok, add in your, virgin olive oil, garlic and onion and fry until nice and fragrant.

Once nice and fragrant add in your double cream yogurt, tuna and your lovely homemade basil pesto and stir over low heat letting it sizzle to absolute perfection.

Drain your pasta and remove your wok from the heat and add in your pasta, mixing it thoroughly.

Once done, add over your cheese and parsley and bake until nice and cheesy about 20-25 minutes.
