Whether you are in the Friday mood for a braai or just keen for a healthy delicious home made burger, my Lia's Gourmet Goodness will bring about absolute happiness in your kitchen!

Ingredients:

1kg lean beef mince 2 x medium eggs 3 x handful of grated parmesan 1 x handful of fresh rosemary, blended 1 x handful of fresh basil, blended (keep to aside a few leaves for decoration) 1 x handful of fresh mint leaves, blended 3 x medium onions (if you like red onions you can make use of them too) Herb spice for taste Salt for taste Pepper for taste

Method:

1. Preheat your oven on gril at 180 degrees. 2. In a big bowl break up your mince and then add in your two eggs and mix. 3. Soon after add in two hands of parmesan and mix. 4. Meanwhile, in your blender add your lovely little burning onion friends, as well as your, rosemary, mint and basil and blend together until everything is evenly cut. Note: do not blend in a paste, purely to have smaller pieces. 5. Once done add to your gourmet goodness mixture and mix. Finally add in your last handful of parmesan followed with some lovely herb spice as well as pepper and salt and season to taste. 6. Once everything is mixed, divide in six portions, roll your burger patty in a ball and slightly press down with your hand to form the patty shape. 7. Chill at-least for 1 hour in the fridge. 8. Grill in the oven for 30-45 minutes or until nice and golden.

Serving suggestion:

To keep it healthy, I make bun-less burgers using my salad as my bun and adding avocado, mayonnaise, cheese and basil pesto paste for extra gorgeousness.
