Tuna Pesto Pasta (with homemade Basil Pesto)

Tuna is so healthy and absolutely delicious and if you want to save some time and whip up something absolutely gorgeous in no time that's healthy and beautiful, this is for you! Remove the bacon for a full plant based recipe! Gorgeously delicious!

Ingredients:


For the basil pesto:

40g basil leaves

1 cup of white cheddar cheese

Himalayan salt

3 x tbsp of extra virgin olive oil

1 x tbsp of lemon juice

For the tuna pasta:


500g pasta screws

200g bacon, sliced

240g drained tuna

Plum tomato's

Feta cheese, to serve

Italian Parsley, to serve


In a hand blender add in all your ingredients for your basil pesto. Over medium to low speed blend until it forms a nice paste.

Meanwhile cook your pasta according to the packaging instruction, and drain. Then in a large bowl add in your pasta, basil pesto, tuna and mix well. Top it off with plum tomato's and feta cheese. Once done, add over your parsley for extra gorgeousness!
